heavy weights

Should I be using heavy weights?

Functional type exercises are a popular technique which not only works your core and torso, but stimulates other muscle groups at the same time. For example, when you are performing dumbell presses while lying on an exercise ball.

You can also use dumbbells while standing in this position. Your abdominal and core muscles will contract to hold your body up, while your chest and tricep muscles will push the weights upwards. This type of exercise provides a strong challenge for your body and will cause it to work as hard as possible.

Cardio is another excellent exercise for the heart and lungs. The total number of calories you burn through cardio, as well as maintaining the right heart rate can help improve general health. You can calculate your heart rate by subtracting 220 from your age and then multiplying the remainder of that calculation by 60 for the lower number, or multiply 220 by 80 for the upper number. This is also known as fat burning zone. Cardio is great for your health in many ways. Firstly, it helps to detoxify the body and relieve stress. For muscle strength and tone, it’s also important as muscles contract and release lymph. This activity will also allow your immune system to clear away dead cells and bring new ones.

Warming up is an important part of any workout routine and it allows the muscles to be more elastic and less likely to break. To warm up, however you should be doing light exercises for 15 – 30 minutes before engaging in weightlifting or cardio exercises. Stretching is also important when you are working out. This will help to get the blood flowing through your muscles. An ideal schedule for exercising includes warming up before doing cardio exercises. You can do weights on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but only cardio on Tuesday and Thursday.

Even though it may seem like your schedule is too crammed to keep up a workout routine, adding exercise will actually make you more energetic which will give back time on your days. You can think of exercise as the batteries that will help to give your life power.
